What you'll receive:
- Your newsletter will be listed in our Noteworthy Newsletters Update
that is sent to more than 99,000 people every week.
- You can provide your
own description of the content of the emails that you'll be sending to people
and can select the countries, states/provinces (in the USA and South Africa)
and age groups of the people who may subscribe to your mailing list. This
means that the people who subscribe to your mailing list in this way will
fall 100% within your target market.
- We recommend that the emails that you send to these people be in the form
of a regular interesting newsletter and not just advertisements, because
these have a better response rate. But, it is up to you what you want to
do as long as your description is accurate about what people can expect.
- Please note that you won't receive the email addresses of the people
who subscribe to your mailings through our Noteworthy Newsletters Update,
instead you will rent these subscribers from us and will be able to use
our facilities to compose and send your emails to them. The reason why
we rent these subscribers to you is to enable us to ensure that unsubscribe
requests are processed more reliably. The benefit to you is that you don't
lose the investment of the cost of finding a subscriber if someone unsubscribes -
we'll simply find another subscriber for you and you won't pay for the
lost subscriber again.
- 1,000 credits for rented subscribers. Rented subscribers
are the ones that we find for you through our Noteworthy Newsletters Update.
- Each credit allows you to send 1 email to 1 subscriber that we found for you.
The price of these credits is usually about R0.20 per credit.
- Thus, if you have 500 subscribers that we've found for you, 1,000
credits will be enough to send 2 emails to each subscriber.
- Tools for building up your own mailing list. You'll own the data of the
subscribers that you find in this way and will be able to download their
data at any time. You can use our cheaper credits for "owned subscribers"
to send your newsletter to them, or download the data and send through
your own system.
- A "Subscribe To My Newsletter" hyperlink. We'll give you a
special hyperlink that you can include in your email signature or email
to people to invite them to subscribe to your newsletter.
- When you've met new people, you can simply send them an email
with this hyperlink and invite them to subscribe to your newsletter.
In this way you maintain contact with these people and you gradually
increase your mailing list.
- Each person who subscribes in this way will automatically be added
to your mailing list on our system and you can then conveniently send
emails to them through our system. You can also download their data
at any time.
- A newsletter sign-up form for your website. We'll give you the
HTML code that you can put on your website to invite them to subscribe
to your newsletter.
- To motivate your website visitors to subscribe to your newsletter
(and stay subscribed),
we recommend that you offer a regular prize that will be awarded to one
of the current subscribers of your newsletter.
- We can also help you put the newsletter sign-up form on a DHTML pop-up
(a type of pop-up that doesn't create a new browser window) so that the
sign-up form will be in people's face and they'll have to close it before
they can see what's behind it on your website. This further increases
the percentage of website visitors that you'll capture in your mailing
list.
- An "Invite Your Friends to Subscribe" button at the bottom
of each email sent through our system. This encourages people to not
just forward your emails to their friends, but to follow this process
so that their friends will become subscribed themselves.
- Importing your existing contact lists. If you have already
formally obtained people's permission to send them marketing emails, we
can import your data for you. If you don't yet have their formal permission,
then we'll give you special hyperlinks that you can use to ask people if
they want to subscribe or unsubscribe from your emails.
- 1,000 credits for owned subscribers. Owned subscribers
are the ones that you found yourself.
- Each credit allows you to send 1 email to 1 subscriber that you found yourself.

- Tools for composing (or importing) your emails. We have
the following options depending on what you are most comfortable with:
- Compose your newsletter easily using one of our templates.
- Compose your emails in professional-looking HTML format by using
our built-in HTML editor which works similar to Word.
- Import your newsletter by sending it to a special email address that
we'll give to you.
- Import your newsletter by simply copying and pasting the HTML code
that you created with another HTML editor.
- Mail merge. Easily personalise your emails by including the
recipient's first name or other data that you collected and thereby increase
the percentage of messages that are opened and read.
- A simple process to send your emails. Our system makes it easy
to send your emails to all your subscribers in one place by carefully guiding
you through the process of previewing your message, then sending a test
message to yourself and only then when you are 100% satisfied, sending it
to all your subscribers.
- Bounce management. Our system automatically processes all bounced
emails to determine if they failed permanently, just temporarily or were
blocked by spam filters. We manually try to get all blocked emails released
by asking the ISPs to white-list our domain since we never send spam. This
means you don't have to worry about getting your emails past spam filters.
- Statistics. You'll see statistics on how many emails were sent and how
many were opened. Before the end of November we'll have detailed click-through
statistics for you as well. This helps you find out what works best and
continuously improve the emails
that you send.
- Friendly support and free advice. If you get stuck and would like
